Safe Communities Wellington County is proud to be a leader in promoting safe behaviours across the County.
Safe Communities Wellington County has been able to identify seven injury areas to prioritize and make an impact in. These injury areas include motor vehicle collisions, falls, mental health, accidental poisonings, cyclists and pedestrians, sports and recreation, as well as agricultural machinery and tools. With our Community Safety & Well-Being Plan, we hope to make a positive impact on these areas to improve safety across Wellington County.
Our Leadership Table is comprised of safety and wellness stakeholders across Wellington County. Our leadership includes representatives from our municipalities, Wellington County Council, Emergency Services, School boards, and even residents.
Safe Communities Wellington County was created with the vision of making Wellington County the safest and healthiest place to live, work and learn in Canada, and we’re proud to be leading the charge in creating safer communities in Wellington County and across Canada.
