Executive and Co-Chairs

On behalf of our Executive, we would like to thank our community partners and residents of Wellington County for your involvement in Safe Communities Wellington County over the last 10 years. We would also like to extend our most sincere thanks to Parachute Canada for supporting us and helping us become a thriving Safe Community.

Motor Vehicle Collisions, Falls, Intentional Self Harm, and Accidental Poisonings are Safe Community’s top leading injury categories. Our Action Groups continue to determine best practices to make the greatest impact on preventing injuries throughout Wellington County.

As Safe Communities Wellington County’s Executive we are pleased to continue providing a leadership role. Our Leadership Table continues to work together to determine strategies and projects that will promote injury prevention and general community safety for the benefit of all Wellington County Citizens.

Our Leadership table meets six times annually and we look forward to welcoming more community partners and residents to help continue to prevent injuries across Wellington County. As a Parachute Canada partner, we are committed to working with the Parachute Partner Network by attending events, and supporting Parachute Canada Programs, like Safe Kids Week in June and National Teen Driver Safety Week in October.
